New ETpro server

Hey guys,

I'm introducing a new etpro server. Like me, a lot of people aren't satisfied with the current etpro servers left in the game (bad maplist, selfkilling in fights not allowed, bad ping), we are trying to set up a new server to enjoy a bit of public again.

Located in France, good ping for europeans though.

Map list changes when the ammount of players reaches 12.

Weapons restriction

- No mines, rifles or heavy weapons until the server reaches 10 players
- When the server reaches 10 players, 4 landmines, rifle and panzer activated.
- When the server reaches 12 players, 5 landmines, 1 rifle per team and 2 soldiers per team allowed.

still no old maps fuck et man why no servers have on stuff like reactor_final and shit from those times

maps like reactor needs teamplay, it's absolutly no fun on public servers imo :P But I agree I'd like to see more of those maps

Nice effort! But I would not use OVH as a host. If you want great pings pick something else. I would pick a good VPS in the Netherlands, since it's still central for all European countries, but people from the UK, United States and Scandinavian countries will get better ping than in France. You can also get a VPS and try different locations for example: https://www.vultr.com/pricing/ also connect a domain, so you don't need to remember the IP address.

Thanks for the advices zenix! We will definitly look into that. Though you should give a try on the server, ping is particulary good for some reason for most of the euros who came to try already!
Any advice is good to take for further changes :-)

For me It should always be good since i have fiber optic :) Just noticed my brother had 25 ping, that is fine.

Everyone who's playing there now (7v7) had a good ping. Either they're from UK, NL, FR, DE :-)

Great news but that maplist need some improvement imo. Maybe add et_beach, et_ice, tc_base and karshia ?

We had those maps at the start already, but we'll stick to our maplist for now. We will definitly make changes if we manage to attract regulars on our server :-)
