that's a serious problem
If you have a problem with your resolution, I'm gonna go ahead and assume you have a 1920x1080 native resolution, and recommend you to set the following cvars to the following values:

r_mode -1
r_customwidth 1920
r_customheight 1080

If that doesn't solve your problem, your native resolution is something else (good news, it can still be fixed without any effort if you're able to find out your screen's native resolution).

Or, you have some kind of a problem with your GPU or its drivers/settings. If that's the case someone else can help you. That person is probably going to want more information than what you gave in this journal.

If my original assumption - that you mean "resolution" when you say "screen" - was wrong, then you need help from either someone a lot smarter than anyone here who's able to build some kind of a gorgifying ray that will make your screen bigger, or someone really patient who can explain to you that making your screen bigger is probably not possible.

If you have nvidia gpu then go to nvidia control panel, adjust desktop size and position and click the one with full screen.
