FPS going bananas!

Good day my fellow Anonymous Crossies!

I need your help!
For some reason my FPS are going crazy while playing ET and I can't figure out why or how to fix it.
They move somewhere from 30 to 120 and 'tis very unpleasant, especially for the streamy strimstrim!

Now, I know that there were some commands you could use to stabilise your FPS and I don't mean
r_primitives. If I remember correctly, there were 2 or 3 you were able to use and the issue was fixed.
Anybody got any ideas?

if u re running nvidia turn off your threaded optimization and vertical sync in settings.

task manager -> priority realtime and using all cpus helped me
