.bin to .avi

hello,, i have a .bin image and the program called isobuster to convert.
when i convert the .bin i get 4 maps: EXT, MPEG2, SEGMENT and SVCD.
in the EXT map 1 file: SCANDATA.dat
in the MPEG2 map 1 file: AVSEQ01.mpg
in the SVCD map a few files: all .svd and 1 .dat
AVSEQ01.mpg is the biggest file but when i open it in mediaplayer or VLC it doesnt work.
so i still dont have a working .avi ( or .mpg). did i do something wrong? should i use an other program or something else??
