Removing HUD in ET Vanilla?

I'm using WolfCam and that ignores all b_ commands, so I am stuck with the Hud, most annoyingly the XP boxes. I am desperate to remove the hud as a good movie config does not have this shitty XP box in the middle! (or the rest of the hud for that matter!)

Any suggestions that dont involve cg_Draw2d
