g-lined

so today i was chilling or irc (quakenet) with some mates.
i was on my bnc so i wasn't authed and i decided to auth.

becuz i didn't know the exact command to auth, i tried different things (which afterwards, was the stupidest thing i could do).

i tried:

/q Q-auth ....

here i made a typing error and i typed /n Q-auth so it changed my nick to Q-auth and ofcourse i got g-lined.

because i can't find the info i need on www.quakenet.org, i'm asking here.

anyone been glined before?

how can i make it go away?
how long does it take to go away by itself?
