On a personal note, its something of an incredible shock to myself and iTG. Darren was a fully blooded passionate man, who loved CTF, Motorbikes and shoutcasting, I remember casting an ET game, Germany vs Norway with lun some seasons ago and then when i finally got to meet him at quakecon this year, he was everything i expected and more. The word passion dosent describe Darren enough, he did nothing by halves, he went into everything two footed and lived life to the full, and for that I will always envy him.
At Quakecon this year, on one of the days, He was shoutcasting with iTG, then was playing Quake4 CTF on the booths until he could play no more and then on with his cycle helmet and back home, he embodied something that I think everyone wants a bit more of, he had the courage to have compassion and that was what made him so endearing.

Goodbye Darren
