firefox problems :(

well I got this fucking problem with firefox for 31401951 time.When I fuck up a non-firefox-related program it somehow inflicts my beloved browser :( I lose all my bookmarks and search engines disappear and I get really mad.However themes and extensions stay and my history still stays :o Last time (10-15 mins ago) I decided to reinstall winblinds 5 because I was tired of strugling with bullshit and that problem occured again :$ I think I am gonna reinstall and install ff again but I wanna prevent this in the future.Any ideas how to fix it?
