Open Cup announced, eurocup in waiting room and a possible chance to see ET on Quakecon next summer. After last year's Eurocup a lot of clans folded because they lost the passion and motivation for the game. Today, new clans raise like mushrooms out of the fertile soil. Many 2 week clans according to the community. Wait and see, i would suggest!
Eurocup has been something special for every ET player. Lots of attention, great amount of ETTV viewers, great personal and teamplay actions and wars at the highest european level.
Dignitas, Saevus, 
U96D, 
uQ were former winners of the glorious CB EC.
2006, is the year of the newschool teams. RTCW-ET glories vanished and new talented players knocked on eachothers door to form a clan. And because of these aspects, i expect a very frivolous EC this year as a new wind blew through the scene (which was needed imo)
I just want a general impression of the community of today! What teams do you expect to play in next CB EC? What team(s) should be able to win and become member of EC's hall of fame (if they won't fold that is)? Which players would/should be 'ETTV-mostwanted-POV'? Do you see any oldskoolers reforming an oldschool team?
I know it won't help if i ask u guys not to flame or whine but ... whatever :)
