Headset Problem

Got a Plantronics headset about a year ago, never had any problems with it whatsoever.
Now all of a sudden the right headphone has stopped working, if I hold one of the wires in a certain position I can get sound through it thus making it impossible to play ET.
Is there anything I can do to fix this or is it time for a new headset?
