Advice on faking nationality!

I heard the other day that some broadcasting companies were gonna stream some of their programs. They were going to add ads to keep it intersting.

But its only avi for people from the Us. How can I fake me being from the us (changing xfire flag did not work!)

The word proxy popped up in my head but i got no idea what this is or how it works.

help would be appreciated :)
