Help needed with mouse.

Hmm, well it is just a query, more of a problem to be precise, about the "feel" of my mouse/crosshair whilst playing ET.

I changed a few settings lately, and experimented with usb/ps2 and hertz settings.

I originally used the ps2, tested some different things in usb, with hertz etc, and now gone back to the ps2.

But my mouse feels much lighter, faster and uncontrolable then before, i have no idea why.

I reapplied the accelfix patch, and deleted the hertz changer thing, and nothing worked.

Now does anyone have any idea why it feels so light and fast, and is there any way to go back to the "old feel"?

Any help is much appreciated.

mx518, 1000dpi, sens 0.85, ps2, 200hz

However i still feel it being too sensetive or maybe to say harder controlable.

Similar thing has happened to me, even though I haven't changed anything related to mouse. Apart from the aforementioned solutions I even tried reinstalling the system, it doesn't help at all. If anyone has some ideas how to repair it or at least knows what could be wrong, don't bother to share it with us ;)
