Qpad - The woes of friction!

Well as the title clearly states; My qpad is inflicted with friction. It's not old, I bought it quite recently (1-2 Months ago)
It appears dirty, and this is causing unbearable friction! So what to do? I know chuck it in some water! Only thing is.. I am worried it will fuck the "hybrapr0lolrortek" surface! So if any of you (preferably Qpad owners) have any handy cleaning tips, feel free to let them be known!
