MX 510 problem :(

I have big problem with my mouse - Mx 510. When I'm playing ET, sometimes I cant move the crosshair... and I hear 'plug & unplug' sound. It take few seconds, and then everything is ok. I havent this problem in other games. Anyone know whats going on? HELP ME!
