Linux Sound Issue

Strange thinks going on here and i totaly have no idea. Have i missed something?
I have a ens1370 and it's working fine all the years but if wan't to start a game like Enemy-Territory now i get a:

Quote

/dev/sound/adsp: No such device
Could not open /dev/sound/adsp

So i thougth, ok, i missed something in the kernel but there is all there. The device also exists and works like here:

lsof | grep dsp
mpg123 12491 core 4w CHR 14,12 18242 /dev/sound/adsp
TeamSpeak 12614 core 67u CHR 14,3 18269 /dev/sound/dsp

The problem exists since ck8 in kernel 2.6.16 and also stays 2.6.17.
My System based on:

gcc-4.1.1
udev-090-r1
and Kernel-Version 2.6.17-beyond-git2

currently.

Notice that the device is still alive and working so please don't answer something like "WTF OMG CREATE A NEW DEVICE" or something. :>

So anybody got a clue?
