Irc Virus to be aware of

Virus name: IRC.Worm.gen
File: C:\Stuff\mIRC\logs\QuakeNet\JP`et_wlad_ETTV.log
I've no idea where this came from and nor do I really want to know (kamz). However whatever the hell it is, my antivirus popped up from nowhere saying its a worm.
I'm confused how a log file can be malicious and it didnt do my PC any harm cause of good old symantec but just FYI!
