dear yournal

i'm confused. i'm a brasil supporter, and yesterday they sucked so much i slept halfway through the match. this morning i woke up and found out they were eliminated. i said to myself "who the fuck cares? it's not like i was gonna win the cup myself". all was fine, until i switched on my pc and checked this lovely website along with a maltese forum. the supporters of the english team were whining all over the place. they seemed to think they played better than portugal, and blamed the ref for their players' lack of skill. i am also confused as to how lennon is english, since he's a really good player, and also how shrek can play football with the name "wayne rooney" (i mean, ogres are ogres, come on). anyway, i was sad to find out they didn't share my "who gives a fuck" philosophy, since they were all stressed out, regardless of the fact they weren't going to earn anything even if england won the world cup. so, dear journal, i hope you're not stressed out as well, and i hope you enjoy the semifinals. since brasil are out, i'm cheering for portugal and italy.
