computer problems

hey mates

i got some problems with my computer.
it started, i think, as i wanted to update bios software and then when i want to start my asus update program it says: no asus mainboard, system abooting now. or something. but i got an asus board, a8n sli.
then, when i'm in ventrilo i can't speak and when i press only one button in vent my computer hangs up and i can't even do a ystem restart. no problems in teamspeak. sometimes, but not often, my computer hangs up on starting winamp or opening a folder, but just for some seconds. and today a windows message appeared: windows systemfehler, means windows system error, and as i clicked the symbole for getting some information, it just disappeared, the same happens with windows update and the firewall message.
i formated my system some weeks ago, before i formated i had no problems.

all in all i think it's a problem with my bios or asus motherboard drivers.
