Paying a monthly fee to play a game that requires you to invest an unrealistic amount of time in order to obtain any worthwhile achievements and get to "the good stuff" (which isn't even guaranteed to be fun due to the rampant retardification of some l33t WoW players) just doesn't make sense when I can play other games without a monthly fee. They also don't compete with real life.
