ET probs :s

ok so my friend is getting alot of problems with et, one of the main ones is " empty CD key " whenever he connects to a server.
He tried updating pb and it worked for a while, but a few hours later it started again..

anyone know how to stop this " empty cd key " thing?

any help would be appreciated..
