PC Problems!

Well, since getting my shuttle i havent really been able to write these PC Problems journals, unlike my nearly monthly one when I had my desktop PC, but now I have an interesting one, that I've solved all be it temporarily!
NTLDR Missing...
Now google tells us that this is not a new problem, and that it is basically the "windows.exe" of a computer, however I dont like problems :(
I went through the suggestions to fix it listed here: http://www.computerhope.com/issues/ch000465.htm
All bar insert windows CD and recover, why didnt I do that? Well I wanted to, but the PC wouldnt read from the WINXP CD, wtf you may ask?
WTF indeed, The way I fixed it was to change my boot priority, putting my 74 GIG WD Raptor as first to boot, which in theory it should have been anyway? As that is where the windows copy im using is located. Anyway for somereason my 2nd harddrive was listed as 1st.
But this might suggest I have some serious issues on my first Hard Drive?
Anyway, what should I do to never see this message again, I'm afraid to turn off my PC :(
