Game Freeze-a-like

Hello all,
Since 2 days, i got a pretty annoying problem:
When i load a map (after every round) my pc seems to freeze for about 5 seconds (with sometimes a awfull soundloop). Not that it's a big problem but I never had that in the past. Now suddenly i have :(
I think the problem appears when i connect with the pb master server because after the freeze I always notice my client just made a connection with pb's master.
Someone experienced the same problem or is it only me myself and I?
