PB & md5

Here are 2 screenshots of my lagometar, right one is after pb/md5 checks my comp/takes screenshot. As you can see, whatever that is i know when this is happening and if would have any hacks i could turn them off as soon as i get that spikes @ my lagometar. So my question is how usefull is that if it can be noticed? I have 192k upload and if i speak on vent when the pb/md5 does this i start lagging, i would like to know how many of you have this problem and would be interested in lowering upload that pb requires so it would be barely noticable on the lagometar but still work?
