frostbite storage

Today I played against some guys and they said no storage. We know it is allowed to just go storage but anyway we accepted. We made a nice obj run and we got the obj in the first rush, and we went back through axis spawn. going through the storage wall, carying the objective the axis team says: HEY! WE SAID NO STORAGE!

Now I would like to get it clear whether allies is allowed to use storage or not. Axis is allowed to go through the storage, but allied should be too?
