vent question

since my upload is only 128k/sec i get problems with most vent servers that have a med/high codec in the channel and i want to play et while talking in that chan
i use netlimiter right now to solve that problem (i limit vent not et actually before u start with "omfgwtflol hax").
more elegant solution would ofc be to limit the quality of my outgoing speech in vent. i know there is no such option in the settings menu of vent but maybe anyone here knows how to hax some vent config or smth :p or some external prog or whatever.
