small update on the cartroubles in slovenia

My car got towed to a seat dealership this morning and they put it on the bridge to check out what was broken and it was indeed the carter. A big nasty crack in there and all the oil was already out.

They didn't have a new carter on stock and none of the neighbouring cities with seat dealerships had one on stock so I was already flipping out. They said they needed to order it and it would arrive on monday and the car would be fixed on tuesday.

Well I already need to be at work in holland on tuesday so that wasn't really an option so I told them that if I could get a carter from somewhere else if they were able to fix it today and they said "sure. but I'm not sure where you will find one".

So I called up my friends in ljubljana and explained the story to them and immediately she said "where is this dealership in ljubljana? I will get it and bring it over right away"

so my friends is now driving from ljubljana to izola with a new carter and hopefully everything works out and I will get my car fixed today so that I can drive back to holland tomorrow!!

I owe her .. a lot!
