compression x264

i just follow this tutorial for to compresswith x264 codec http://www.shaolinproductions.org/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=33&Itemid=16&limit=1&limitstart=1

but the final result it's too bad about the quality!

how it's possible? someone can link me an other tutorial or some screenshoots with the settings?
