Ok.. I'm asking you guys to do me a favor.
Do the following plz.
1. Deeply breath out through your mouth.
2. Now start a stopwatch and deeply breath in through your nose
3. Hold your breath for as long as you can.
4. Once you can't hold it in no more, make a small round hole with your lips and as slowly and controlled as possible, breath out of your mouth (like softly blowing out a candle)
5. At the moment you can't hold it anymore and you simply have to breath in, stop the stopwatch.
6. Post your time here as a reply plz.
I know some of you may me thinking like "Wtf, ron lost it" but plz, this is very important for me at the moment.
For the whiners, "ok", "1st", "die" and other spammy kid remarks, enjoy your stupidity.
For those who take this serious, tried it seriously and posted a serious answer, thank you very much.
To answer why I ask this:
it's part of a therapy to re-adjust the breathing-center in your brain to make it learn and accept higher co2 levels in your blood.
What I described above is a trial.
One session concists of 10 of those trials with about a minute pause in between.
Two sessions need to be taken daily.
Within 2 to 4 months you should see an increase of average time by 50% to 60%
This is a therapy for people that suffer from chronical hyperventilation. This is a state where your breathing center reacts too fast on rising co2 levels, meaning you actually breath faster than needed, resulting in low co2 levels, which in turn results in all kinds of nasty things. (trust me, you don't even wish those nasty things to your worst enemy)
I'm curious what the average time of someone is who does not suffer from this condition.
