Cancer Fund Raising Match - Final Updates

The Cancer Research fund raising match announced by TeK-9 in the past few months has been a hit with the Call of Duty 2 community. First announced the websites that postd the news became flooded with comments and hopeful donators.

TeK-9 recently announced the final details for the match which will be hosted this Wednesday at 21:00 CET. The following information is the final update for the match with added details of donating.


The match will take place on the same date with a slightly altered time to the original given due to EuroCup matches taking place one hour before. The match details are as followed including server stats.


For the match TeK-9 will be needing a decent pinged server hosted from the Netherlands with up to date PAM mode on it and at least 18-20 slots. If you are interested in donating a server generously for this occasion that meets the required specification given above please contact tek9|sCARRr[EC] on our IRC channel #tek9 @ quakenet or #cancerfundraising @ quakenet.

Not forgetting the prize pot for donators which Steelseries recently got involved in. The following goodies are to be won donated generously by TeK-9 and Steelseries.

These prizes will be given away to random people that donate 5 euros or more (which is nothing!) to the cancer fund raiser. So far the total is a little over 350 euros and we are hoping to break (at least) the 500 euro mark by the start of the game. Once again the FULL amount will go to the UK cancer research fund and help research ways of battling cancer.
