Dutch multigaming clan suXus eSports, possibly known by you for their CoD2 team who ended third at the Netgamez and is also active in the Call of Duty 2 EuroCup, has decided to make a surprising move towards the Enemy Territory scene by adding the Estonian powerhouse Oxygen.ET to the organisation.
Very unexpected one man might say, and well suXus itself tells us that they have been looking for an ET team in the past few weeks. The head of management of suXus L3oN had the following to say:
We were looking for an Enemy Territory team because we have seen a lot of attention for the game lately, with LANs like the crossfire LAN, ETTV, large community sites we feel competitive Enemy Territory is at the point of reaching another level, and we want to be part of this change, that’s we started looking for a team in the game. We have considered a few teams, primary we were looking for Dutch teams only but I guess competitive gaming in The Netherlands is dominated by Counter-Strike and Call of Duty, so we started to look outside The Netherlands for teams from Belgium and other country’s close around.. The search didn’t really work well. A few days ago however we got in contact with a Enemy Territory team playing in the premier levels of Enemy Territory. The team was called Oxygen.ET and they were about to leave their current multigaming clan because of an inactive management. After some long talks we decided that Oxygen.ET would be the perfect team to represent us in the Enemy Territory scene..
We tried to get a little bit more information about why the team left their last multigaming clan (Qlasics) and talked with indu (a player of the ET team) about it..
Well.. We left Qlasics because we didn’t feel it had any future after their head of management Sainted went inactive because of “real life issues”, anyway we didn’t feel our position at Qlasics was stable now and at the same time we looked at the future and well.. we do want to attend to some LANs and without a proper management there is no chance Qlasics would be able to allow us to attend LAN events without us paying for all the bills. So we decided to look for a new multigaming who could support us in the ways we wanted and we walked up to the totally renewed suXus eSports, who have had an ET team in the past but weren’t so successful back then, we think we will be able to do better and we will try to prove that in the upcoming weeks under the name of suXus.
