What did marv achieve? Dav1d, milk, freek, riddla, emorej ? Fobje? Genghis, radifz, dr3am, xylos, danone, toxic ? Every single player from team North (except twidi & lettu perhaps) ?
So please Tosspot, don't tell me the selection is based on what you have achieved in the past.
We were talking about west, not the other regions the other regions have their own reasons for picking who they picked, south has a truly limited group to chose from for example, north, many ppl were unavail etc.
You've listed some players players who have been in EC finals or are NC winners as your examples from west, I really cant see how Maus who quits 2 weeks before the lan and then comes back again can compete with an EC finalist?
You wanna call these belgian players skilled ok, but urtier picked a team based on something else, that something (in many cases (not sols no offence)) has been successful in Eurocup, Quakecon, CPC, NC, AEC.
Saying maus, zeto or lioco shud be in a team as opposed to tekoa (in your previous reply) is just plain crazy! You a crazy person!
I dont mean to offend those three belgians with my comments, and lioco i'm sure you'll take 2 hours to set up your razer drivers at next cpc to spite me, but to be an "allstar" you gotta go out there and star in a success story.
But as I said, I thought it was about skill and not about what you achieved in the past. Even then, what did freek and marv achieve? And when you played one time in a final of an EC, is not that big of an achievement. Certainly when you had the easiest path to the final.
Speaking about milk, what makes him an allstar? Because he did something in the past? He plays in the goddamn OC now, nice allstar you have there.
Anyway, too bad urtier choose for achievements instead of actual skill. Perhaps they would've won from South in that case...

2 . after 1-2 days possible captains announcing the lineups what they will choose if they will be selected (later no chance to modify the lineups)
3 . the community select the captains with the best lineups for each region
results for
- captains: they need turn over what lineup they select
- community: they know for what they vote
