Nice, really nice. Having stayed out last night to watch the dire England game, I was hoping to have some interesting stuff to read on xfire, but this is kinda better than expected. Actually my college has just upgraded all of its computers with these Duo processors, and I would have nabbed one by now if it wasn't for my saintly soul!

I should really look into it more, but it seems pretty unique and a superb opportunity for gamers, I think we should applaud those behind this venture.
Wow, this is probably the best and greatest news I've ever seen. 12,000 pounds is a lot of money and will surely attract some of the greatest teams there are.
A really brave and, in my oppinion, good step to include CoD2. Seems the hard work of their community has paid off. Perhaps next time around they'll include ET as well.

It's a really nice touch with the expert panel. Not only will you be able to game away all you want, you'll also be able to find out more about how everything works. I know there are lots of people who don't fully understand how today's professional eSports scene works. With the Multigamingclans, sponsorships and so on. It'll prove a valuable leason for those who want to know.

Intel have always showed a lot of support for the professional gaming scene. They sponsor several teams, one hellofa lot of tournaments, but also (which might be the most admireable) I know they sponsor small LANs. I played in a ET LAN here in Sweden with no pro gamers at all, just a bunch of ET-players wanting to have fun. We stayed at a nice hotel and the tab was mostly paid by Intel. I think this kind of attitude towards gaming is really rewarding for them and I think most people nowadays associate Intel with professionalism and a supportive attitude.

I know I chosed them when I build a computer for my bro ;>
ye nice, uk + ir only
Nice to see them covering more and more tournaments and giving even smaller events the chance to request sponsoring.
