CPC Day 2 is underway

Hello and welcome from the home of Call of Duty, Enemy Territory and RTCW in Enschede for this weekend. Day One has been and gone. Today teams will play begin their playoffs in ET aswell as the COD groups being finished.

Impact gaming face Dignitas in the second winners bracket semi final, which should be an interesting match with neither team been living up to their potential but leaves us with some questions such as, is a mix of big name players enough to topple the dominating force in ET for the last year? Will Dignitas regain their form in the important stages of the tournament?

Both teams should have a lot more to give based on previous experience ...or is it time for a new star in the Enemy Territory universe?

After dignitas struggled in their first match against logitech yesterday, they need a two wins now to continue to the playoffs, otherwise this group will be the closest. Adocom, known as the former dSlash team has to prove the worth of their recived LAN support by attending the CPC instead of the Summit in Germany. With the draw against Logitech their door is still wide open to get a spot into the playoffs but did this mean they are strong enough to face dignitas?

A first deciding match for eSuba. After beating the SHGopen Champs serious gaming yesterday on the new map valente, they don't have a save way into the playoffs even if they deserved it. This match can be their first step on the top of the group and to make a save jump in the first round of the upcoming single elimination bracket. eSuba is worth playing it and has a lot of potential as they showed on diffrent events and EuroCups already. EDiT is a new face finished top 3 at the NetGamez. They have nearly lost all their chances to reach the playoffs loosing against oxid and serious yesterday, rank 3 or 4 for them?

Where are the ET Matches?
The schedule for ET matches are delayed due to the RTCW tourney at the moment. The delay is about 2 hours now. For recent schedules check the GamesTV.org Times within your timezone.

eSuba needs the win to make their way into the playoffs save. After the czech team won against Dignitas on vallente yesterday, these two teams will decide who will progress. While EDiT is without chances but still playing as well, currently against eSuba ofcourse, it's all on the swedes from oxid. After a loss against serious but aswell a clear win against EDiT, it can be close - may the allmighty CoD2 god tell us what will happen - (hopefully) together with the livestreams powered by iTG and QuadV.

A deciding game - atleast for zeroPoint who are not playing in here but who will hope to see zerobarrier win against one.soldier to get the last small chance to join the playoffs. The realy great gameplay in their last matches made zerobarrier one of the top in this tourney for now while one.soldier as second favorite next to zP! needs the win or a draw to save their second place. Who's going to pass in the playoffs in group c?

While both teams have already qualified for the playoffs, they will fight each other for the top spot. Impact played a tight game against Auxilia coming out as winner and are now preparing to face off with polar - the 3rd of the PGS. Who will continue his winning spree? Make sure you tune in.
