I was lucky enough to catch up with Australia Demanufacturer, leader of Australian eSports organisation Modus Operandi and attendee of QuakeCon 2005 with the team. In a lengthy interview many topics were broached; his playing career, the expansion of mo* and his thoughts on the future of eSports in Australia and in general. Here is a snippet:

It started in Other News and then was moved I guess. In the past I've seen similar kind of things posted in Other News so thought that was the way to go, only full interviews 'hosted' by Crossfire should be posted in the Interviews section I think.

Nice read, and probably a better read if you're not too familiar with MO and recent developments.

Just needed a follow-up question about MO's loss to iC (after the question about YoY v iC final), as it was a precursor to MO's golden run (GA, QCON, and some smaller comps).

The quote excerpt is really true re: in-game leadership btw.
