image: dparty_cancelled_410Dataparty, which promised to be one of the final warmups prior to the two WSVG's this summer has been moved to August now, and comes as the second Swedish event to postpone.

Despite having a prizepot of 5,000 Euros for Call of Duty 2 the event was unable to sell enough tickets to make the event viable. Its regular ticket price was quite high, despite reductions for competing Call of Duty competitors. The summer edition of Wonderbase has been postponed also, and with the autum edition supposedly set for a large Call of Duty prizepool, Sweden could host Europes finest in consecutive months.

Provisionally the event is rescheduled for the 17th-19th of August.

The Call of Duty LAN Calendar is still relatively busy, with $50,000 between the two WSVG events in Dallas (July 5-8) and Orlando (August 23-26). TeK-9's second Out Post on Fire offering is sandwiched in between them, aswell as Dataparty, Wonderbase and Clanbase Eurocup XV scheduled for the end of the summmer, and potentially CPC3 in the Autumn.

Sure there was another Nordic LAN that was postponed/canceled as well, racks ones brain.

1 month before CPC3...
2 months before Enlarged07...
3 months before PGA...

QW will be at CPC3 - It dosent serve the purpose of either the events or crossfire to run an event without it

What do you want elaborated, CF will support QW, to the same extent it does ET and CoD (and RTCW before). QW, esp in SD's suggested 6on6 format is logical progression for CF.

Definatley no plans to drop CoD2, the size and extent of ANY tournament for CPC3 hasnt been considered. Theres a great deal to be considered and reflected upon from CPC2 yet and that process hasnt truly begun, since CPC2 I've barely done a thing towards CPC3 as my uni commitments are too big.

Dare I add theres even the possibility of a mystery game at CPC3 :D
