Online registration for the World Series of Video Games, Presented by Intel, Dallas circuit stop will be closing on Tuesday, July 3rd at 9pm ET (July 4th, 03:00 CET). Those interested in competing after Tuesday will have register on site as competition spots may or may not become available. Individuals who seek to participate in Fight Night Round 3 and the Guitar Hero II Open will also have to sign up on site. Top teams confirmed for the Call of Duty 2 event are as follows:

spArkZ, this is a LAN, not a cup, and it starts on Thursday. No word on whether CoD2 will be streamed live but there will at least be scorebots and updates.

This is going to be really interesting, the first time we get to see Europeans vs Americans in CoD2, there was a CPL for CoD1 and I think 3D won it? (or the team that became 3D) but this is the first since then, good luck, dignitas ftw!

lol you do realize that none of those guys actually played in those matches most of the time they forfeited...and if they did have a full squad it was a bunch of ringers aliased as them...but some of them did play and you know what, after Qcon they quit and they just happened to make a team after not playing for 1/2 year and thats the only ET they played

Umm yeah former -p-, carpe diem, excel, flatline, naett, etc, etc all forfeited their matches or were full of aliasers... Just look at the last 3 or so seasons, only pandemic had a lot of forfeits but even they played some matches. That ringer bullshit is just some people trying to pretend they don't care about ET or finding excuses for losing. Heck, from what I remember even u5 played a bit after QuakeCon...

Sure they didn't play non-stop for the whole time since then, but they've played enough games since then to eliminate any of the credibility of "leaving" after QuakeCon. Quitting is not leaving for couple of months only to come back.

pandemic was only in one season since qcon, and yes u5 did play a little bit but it wasnt the same u5 that everyone saw and tehy also forfeited alot of there matches, and thats why they are no longer u5
