Enemy Territory - Quake Wars

ET: Quake Wars demo release date confirmed!

The demo version of Enemy Territory: Quake Wars will be released on the 10th of September - in under a week!

A press release with more info will be released later according to ET: Quake Wars community manager Badman. The release date is quite surprising, as Splash Damage earlier announced that the demo would be release mid-September.

I will update the newspost when the press release is published and more information is available.

True, but map of current beta sucks and people are anxious to play other map and to see how to game will be in full version.

It's a great map, but im not here to compare ET with ETQW since that would be no use. It's nice you want to compare the 2 and then hope we all agree and find ETQW really great, but seeying how you try to get ET in this coversation only shows you how unsecure you're about ETQW.

And leave ET out of it now, only point i try to made was stop thinking that the demo will be so different than the last Beta. They worked 4 years to complete some beta's and i don't think they changed major things in the period of the last beta to the demo beeing released.

that's unconfirmed, but valley or island are the most likely maps (chance of it still being valley is fair i guess)

Nice i cant remember flying a plane tho ...

Anyways great thing about QW is that vehicles only have a small advantage Firepower/speed and armour ofc

Disadvantage: Easy target for bazooka's (i dont remember the names of the guns , i will call them panza's :DDD)
And other vehicles


I played QW 4 times now (valley) and i have noticed that this is ways better then BF2 which sucks because it was more a vehicle war game than an actual shooter game :<

Its not very often software is released earlier than announced, the trend is to push it back. So yeah it was quite suprising.
