Last Minute Notice for CDC attendees

As the days to CDC are rapidly, but gladly declining, there are a few final important notices that players need to be aware off.

There have been some problems with people booking a place to sleep and there have been questions on what is and is NOT allowed to install. Here are your answers or how to get help. If you have any other questions, please PM me or comment in this post.

[bFor everyone playing[/b]]
We have assembled a package of software which include the (so-far) allowed software which should accommodate most players attending. If you want anything added into the standard package, please make your request by email (remao.tummers at gmail dot com) and we will look into it.

We stress that people do bring their USB keys (NO CDs) to make sure you have everything you need, regardless of that software package. We are purely trying to save you critical time when setting up.

To be clear, it will be allowed to add stuff beyond the software package, however we kindly ask you to let us know in advance.

Mice Drivers, Utilities and Registry Files

5.548 accelfix.exe

This program will remove the acceleration in windows, when you use this no
reg file is need anymore since this program changes a file in windows.

386 AntiMouseFix.reg
381 MouseFix.reg

This file is the opposite of what the CPL Mousefix does, this means that
this will set back the settings of the mouse
as they were before using the CPL Mousefix.

102.400 dx_mouse_timer_dialog.exe

For checking your settings, like the hz.

938 MouseFix+10sens0thres.reg

This file will do same as CPL fix but also put your sens in windows on
10(Middle) and put the thresholds on 0, meaning no accel.

370 RemoveMouseFix.reg

This is the CPl fix for removing accel in windows, if you completely want to
remove accel you need accelfix.

[bFor people staying (or wanting to stay) in the Cabins:[/b]]
- You need to bring your own pillow a bed sheets and your own sleepingbag.
- For those that have reserved and paid, you are certain of your rooms.
- For those that have reserved but have not paid yet, you need to hurry If you choose the latter, please inform WZZRD about this to avoid having your reservation nullified if you come later. If you do not pay on time, you risk losing your reservation.
- Keys and Cabin information pick up location will be the WZZRD LAN Center.
You should be able to pick this up, throughout the entire evening until 1 AM CET at least. If you arrive late, please make yourselves known at +31641724640. We will accommodate you.
- For those that currently do NOT have a place to sleep yet, please make yourselves known to me (by PM) ASAP. In the upcoming hours, I will know more on what (hopefully cheap) options there are to stay in Enschede.

Smoking is allowed in the venue, however we ask people to avoid this to a minimum in the player areas.

For those traveling by car, there are free parking places near the venue.
For those traveling by train check out the http://ns.nl/servlet/Satellite?cid=1075985690180&pagename=www.ns.nl%2FPage%2FSuperHomepageEnglish&c=Page]Dutch Railway site You want to travel to Enschede Drienerlo, not just Enschede (unless you are staying in a hotel downtown).
For those coming from Schiphol, there is a train every 30 minutes. One at xx:21 and xx:51 leaving from track 1-2 ( HERE )
