This patch optimizes the Lean view offset issue, addressing the glitch reported by several community members and documented and sent in directly by community member GaretJax which is commonly referred to as the ?Left / Vertical Lean? Glitch, in addition to preparing files for compatibility with the future release of the Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare™ Mod Tools. This patch will update all previous versions of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare™ to v1.2

i think i need a better cpu..
i got:
amd athlon 64 2800+
1gb ram
sphire radeon x1950pro (512mb)

but i dont want to pay much.. if i want a dualcore i need a new motherboard (mine is socket 754)

strange, i got p4 3ghz, 1 gig ram and ati x300se 128mb and i got better fps =/

only if i look in a wall it goes up to 100+

Then you are doing something wrong. I've got this:

AMD athlon 64 3000+
1gb ram
GeForce 8400gs OC'ed (low-end card)

And I get around 60-90fps without any config.

1.2 after one week, would be good if they had fixed things I care about.

Fix hitboxes please, I want my cod headshots back :( I know many weapons isnt 100% damage, but some are and I dont get headshots when I aim on the head - have like under 10% hs ratio - thats all time low for any game. Might be netcode, but watching a dude shooting 1m over or on the side of me to get hs and not getting anything myself just feels bad, boosted by the fact that I loved going for hs in cod2.

I find hitreg is just server dependent, if im on a good one its no problem but a bad server is just a horrible server. Or you're just shit at aiming :x

Well I have even tested on a norwegian server and when I get headshots or it seems very random :/ (seems dependent on angle to the head, if the person is moving and randomness)

Just something thats not right.

Take just a huge random spread + some lag and voilà, you've got random headshots. It's better to aim to chest and hope for lucky headshots than to aim directly to head and shoot birds down from the sky.
Knife is the only annoying thing in CoD4 I can think about, it should really be like in ET, very effective from the back but like a drinking straw when stabbing from front. :p

The point of view when leaning was fubar. For example, billy is leaning around a corner and he has a full view of what he's looking at. Bob however who is trying to shoot Billy, can only see the top of his helmet giving billy a massive advantage.

I hope this has fixed the issue.
