Crossfire QCUP Update #1

As we're progressing through the signup stage of the Crossfire QCUP we would like to draw your attention to the following updates. Please check Crossfire regularly for updates as the tournament progresses!

Schedule
Unfortunately a small error has been discovered in the original schedule. The following schedule will now apply to the Call of Duty 4, Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory and Warsow tournaments. Please note that only the duration of matchweek 1 and 2 have been altered.

Signups: Open until Tuesday 4th 21:00 CET December
Matchweek 1: Wednesday 5th to Monday 10th December
Matchweek 2: Tuesday 11th to Saturday 15th December
Matchweek 3: Sunday 16th to Wednesday 19th December
Finals: Thursday 20th to Saturday 23rd December

Cheaters
Furthermore we would like to stress that we do not welcome cheaters to the tournament! We will be utilizing the various banlists as reference and each violation of the rules will be dealt with subjectively by the administrators of this tournament.

Call of Duty 4Config and mod
Obviously the development of Call of Duty 4 and its mods are going through a turbulent phase. The newest version of DAM has caused some issues with the Crossfire config and we will hopefully be rectifying this very shortly. Stay tuned for an update on this issue.

Signups
We've decided to limit the number of teams to 32 teams and deal with the signups on a first come, first served basis. Any surplus will be added to a waiting list and will replace teams as soon as they drop.

Maps
As stated before the first two maps will be chosen by each team, however you can't choose the same map twice during the first 3 matchweeks. This will ensure that we will actually see most maps of the pool played during this tournament. For example if you choose mp_crossfire (obviously everybody's favourite map by now, hence the name) in week 1 you won't be able to choose it again in week 2 and 3. The same situation applies to the semifinals and grand final, so choose carefully!

PB GUIDs
All CoD 4 team leaders who have signed up must also send a PM to Penn with the 8 digit GUIDS of all players on the roster.
