ET's New Years Night Cup

2008 - A year to call it an end for ET? A year to make it final and to change to another game? We will do our best to keep you at your beloved Enemy Territory and to bring some competition to your Sunday evening to celbrate the "Happy New Year" together with your opponents in the upcoming cup. The cup will start at 18.00 CET with 16 participants in a knockout bracket (single elimination) at this Sunday evening. Every match will be played in Best-Of-3 while the first map is forced and the second and third maps are loser's choice.

Contact & Rules
Loser's choice: The looser of the first map will decide the second map, the looser of the second map will decide the third and final map.
IRC channel: The official channel to find your opponent is #esl.et n Quakenet. Make sure you are in the channel before 18.00 CET for the recent news.
Mappool: Supply, SW Goldrush TE, Braundorf, Adlernest, Radar and Frostbite.
Config: You can use the european, ET-Cup or any other related competition config out there, the only important thing is: Mobile is not allowed and will result in a forfeit loss.

The ESL Major Series
The EMS will be held as the IPS season did over a year ago. With 1000 Euro prize money it is the only online competition for our glory et with that amount of money next to the Crossfire QCup.
For the seedings in the upcoming ESL EMS qualifier and first stage this and the upcoming 3 one-day cups powered by the ESL will decide the seedings in the upcoming ESL EMS qualification. The seedings will decide how weak your first opponent is, with a high seed (1, 2 or 3), your opponents in the first rounds will be rated lower (14,15 or 16) and the chance to pass through the qualification will be higher in a favorite role.
