Coming up next for the competive world of the latest Call of Duty release is the ESL Major Series Season 2 with a 1500 € prizepool to statisfy the participants and allow every possible clan a chance to participate. The doors are widly open to sign up and participate in the national qualifier for 16 nations.

Qualifiers
To decide the 24 teams for Season 2 the ESL has expanded the qualifying system equal to the resemble of the ESL Extreme Masters system to have two knockout rounds in addition to direct qualifiers for each nation and the international qualifier spot.
Phase 1 – National Qualifiers
Phase 2 – QR1 – 24 Teams
Phase 3 – QR2 – 24 Teams
Phase 4 – Main Round – 24 Teams
Phase 5 – Playoffs – 8 Teams
National qualifiers
To participate in national qualifiers the teams must have ateast 3 of 5 players ingame from the country of the national qualifier. Different nations already announced their details on the upcoming qualifier round, check the list and find your country.
Not listed countrys will not have a national shot. All the teams waiting on an announcement for their own nation can participate in the international qualifier and teams that do not have 3 of 5 players ingame from the same country that has an EMS qualifier can compete in the European qualifier, the sign ups and play mode for this qualifier will be announced soon while the structure will depend on the sign ups.
The sign ups are open until February 17th 23:59 CET.
48 teams get the chance to qualify for the final round to face the 24 top teams from all over Europe, based on the activity within the ESL, the achivements for the country's teams in the first season and the game activity in the different nations the slots each country recives are decided.
