GREAT SUCCESS OF DEAD GAMES
-ut3:P
DotA (5on5): : €1.500 lold they support a map instead of the normal game :S
WCIII is already supported by EPS, Extreme Masters and WC3L.
in et there are more clans then dota ever will have..
and there just too less events atm.
dota isn't worse but i think a game which exist since 2003 and still have a huge community should also get a spot in the ems
it s just my opinion
i series hosted a tf2 tourney two times with 15-20 teams both times only form the uk.
yeah ET is abit bigger so yes it should have EMS and dota/dow picks are wierd.
Then you have to take into account that TF2 is newer and has far less cheaters. It's a steam game and can be buyed. (Don't forget it's an online competition)
Our community should have shown them that we are active. We didn't. Not even 100 teams at this Major Series Season.
We did a mistake not them. We didn't care about the ESL, they did. Remember the IPS and this seasons EMS. Three out of eight teams dropped out of the IPS. And now not even 100 teams signed up for the EMS but 290 für CB OC season.

esl sucks ass
Is there some study that says that guys are capable of moving a mouse better then a girl? Why do they have to split it up? Don't get it
But in CoD4 and such games there shouldn't be a split obviously.
CS has been out since 1996, and most girls started alot later. It's not only about experience though, it's alot about skill. Most of the female topclans can't be close to compete with the male topclans, and therefor they wouldn't even qualify to play with the male topclans in the first place though.
Even if this split could be quite ridicilous, since the female clans could very well climb their way to the top by praccing against male topclans, I think it wouldn't happen for a while. Maybe we'll see smth like it in the future, if CS is till alive that is.
From the point of view of marketing and publicity, it's a different story. Since the ratio of guys to girls in (competitive) gaming, or more specifically in the target audience for gaming coverage, is still up at something like 9:1, and of an average age range in the 15-25 region, the decision to encourage female gamers to play in the competition is a no brainer. You'll get hundreds more hits just from the male gamers who want to see a picture of a girl (remember Christa's profile?)...
Counter-Strike Female (5on5): €1.500
edit: every step taken, is one too late for et
only ur trying to take CB down each time ur getting a chance to do (like the 5v5/6v6 thingy, or some other decisions from doneX or other CB sups.)
It's the website, it's more difficult signing up than winning the cup.
