The show is commissioned for a 7 episode pilot series and your input would be greatly appriciated, so please feel free to critique!

nice! :D

EDIT:where did you record it, in a studio or smth ? Or did you just rebuild your toilet? :D
EDIT2:

- The background song is annoying & boring after a couple minutes
- Get subtitles from several languages.
- Also make it more exciting it's becoming boring after a while, you could make a sort of aftermovie of lans with nice music!
- And i don't know if it's possible to move the ''studio'' to the lan where you are at that time so that the viewer can taste the atmosphere.

I hope you can use this "tips" in the future, GL ;>
Lovely. I think the show could benefit by being less formal. I understand that you want to appear "professional," but at the same time you have to remember who the target audience is. It's eSports Weekly, not Baghdad Weekly. ;)
some suggestions:
- Add a short break between each news item
- Add a short break between subjects, with an animation to fill the break (news, interviews, results)
- Use the TV screen in the back to show what you are talking about (for example when a logo for the TSL)
- When doing an interview (with for example sam matthews) don't switch the screen to whoever is talking but rather display both persons
- The scoreboards should show what league the match is played in
- In the first scene about the CGS show who's talking

besides that its pretty cool

great idea, you seemed a little awkward at some points but 10/10 for the concept of it all, cant wait to see it in full motion.
I'd say he looked pretty confident, considering it was the first show and he knew half of crossfire would poke fun at him afterwards. :)
Parent
ofc ofc cant wait to see when he gets fluent :) wasnt being a prat just pointing it out :D

:D
Some really nice feedback, I will try to take some of it into this weeks show. <3
Awesome mate, if i were interested in any games but et i would really really like it ! But overall it's very good looking and very professional. One thing i want to suggest is that you keep your hands above the table and use them to express while talking...looks a bit wierd having them under :D. But besides that it's awesome mate, 10/10 from me!

there was too much talk in the start, the rest was great
use the tv next to you, its not only for the logo:D
Quite nice, though the tv could be of more use than only having the logo on. Other than that i agree with Sainted
nice! just one thing to complain, hold your hands above the table and use them while you are talking :---D
Agree with you on that:P

I bet he was wanking to get his nerves down:P!

Also putted that as a comment under the vid;)!

Just fantastic.

Though if you're gonna sit behind a desk then you need to have some paper in front of you. Don't need anything on the paper ppl will assume its got stats or results on :D

Just something you can mess with instead of w/e you were doing below the desk.
Would be nice to mention ET some day, if there is really something worth to mention.

Great show though. Will follow it :>
Would be cool to have some paper or a laptop on the desk so you can do something with your hands rather than having them on your lap.

Also I think you need to have some sort of pause between news items (maybe turn a piece of paper to symbolise you are moving onto another piece of news) as otherwise when watching you can get a bit lost - thats what I found in the content for the first section.

Other than that, it was nice.
please don't deny that you were trying to be a little like gary lineker ??!

go on, ive found you out
gary beats keys any day
Parent
And in this picture its Stelling and NOBODY beats Jeff Stelling
Parent
But you were far more Gary Lineker than Jeff Stelling in the first weeks edition.

Great stuff though, finally got to watch it.

Poor Sko it's all his fault!

Very nice! I think this can be quite a big step in making competitive gaming more professional. Even better would be to get this show on a tv channel like MTV, they just might be up for it :D

Small remark: try to put your hands on the table, or gesture a bit.. or something, this looks a bit unprofessional.

Way to go!
+ get some papers

even though you will be reading from the camera

and dunno if i realized good but Toss, were the words you were reading a bit to your right and not on the camera you had to face...
no the autocue is on the camera

Tosspot is gonna be fucking rich in 5 years!
