EMS II and FGL Finals Tonight on QuadV

First up tonight will be the ESL Summer Cup following on from last night. Straight after will be the Consilation Finals of what has been a great EMS Season II for Call of Duty 4 and directly after that we dive across to the FGL Finals in which the winner will take home $750 with $450 to the loser.

ESL Summer Cup LB R1 - 20:45 CET 3rd July - Reason Gaming vs KomaCrew - Map by Veto

United Kingdom Reason Gaming played a close match last night but it could have been far worse. At 12-6 it was looking like a deomnstration of how to play Crash by Czech Republic eSuba, this over a team that totally shut out Sweden Fnatic in 9 straight rounds just last week! There was no love lost between either team though and tonight Reason shall be looking for some payback.

Netherlands KomaCrew looked a shadow of themselves last night with KajsKing stepping in to fill the boots of Roman. However having not played together before on Backlot it wasnt until the last few rounds where things started to work out but by then it was too late. So tonight they will undoubtedly be avoiding Backlot in the veto and hoping for something else!

EMS II Consilation Final - 21:30 CET 3rd July - Fnatic vs LowLandLions - Map by Veto

Sweden Fnatic have had a hard time of it lately mainly down to inactivity but when money is on the line they tend to perform. They lost to United Kingdom Reason Gaming last week in the Live2Win Playoffs but here in the EMS they are on the comeback trail beating Czech Republic DEFEATERS, United Kingdom Dignitas and Belgium TEK9. It was however tonights oposition that put them into the Lower Bracket in a thrilling 19-16 double overtime match.

Belgium LowLandLions had performed well in the EMS II and they are just 1 win away from making it into their first major finals in Call of Duty 4. Alongside their win over Sweden Fnatic they also beat tonights FGL Finalists Germany choZen however Germany Speed-Link proved to strong on the night for them. With a win already recorded against their opponents they can come into the match with some confidence knowing that the almighty Sweden Fnatic are indeed not unbeatable.

FGL Finals - 22:00 CET 3rd July - eSuba vs choZen - Map by Veto

Czech Republic eSuba beat United Kingdom MYM Tuesday night (13-6) in Live2Win and where amazing last night in a fast paced action thriller against United Kingdom Reason Gaming, a game I highly recommend you watch on VoD. Tonight they enter the finals from the winners bracket meaning they only need to win just one map and with their map pick first it could well be a short final.

Germany choZen pulled off the shock of June defeating United Kingdom Reason Gaming against all odds. They are massive underdogs tonight though in their first major finals against probably the best currenty online team.

You can of course watch all the action live on QuadV TV1 with Deman.

FGL really failed as league, taking in a lot of niche games, basing game choices of the amount of people on their forum asking their game to be feature, and lack of proper coverage parters... Too bad, because it might have been a good alternative for ClanBase.

Anyway, the ESL match should be good...
It has Klienman!

FGL hasn't failed, it's had a decent enough first season, havn't seen many complaints from the cod community and i'm sure a lot of teams will return for season 2.

Anyone's better than Liverpool :-)

Why Barry wants to leave us and play for the second biggest team on Merseyside is beyond me!

I think saying Tranmere Rovers are the biggest is going a bit far :)

Because everyone knows Everton are just a small team from Kirby!
