This years Quakecon has flown by and whilst it went off without too much of a bang on the competitive community there were still some big prizes to be won in Dallas and some familiar faces took home the big prizes in the Anatole.

Quakewars PC

Quake Live 1vs1

Belarus srs.Cypher $5000
United States of America SK.Zero4 $3000
Canada Griffin $1500

There were also Quakewars on XBOX and Quake Live CTF and you can grab those results on the Quakecon site. Quake Unity had some coverage of the event which you can catch on demand on their site.

Sorry I couldnt find the belarus flag for Cypher, you can just imagine it! Shame that Quakecon kinda flew by without too much shabang this year.

Heard it was a pretty good Quake Live tourney. Listened to the audio cast of the finals, sounded like a close game.

Well its got nothing to do with TeX really, that was CoD. Its very difficult to get news out of Quakecon without being there, many other tournaments you can cover from home with gtv / ettv or a livestream, or good coverage on other websites, but this had none of the above.

Thought so too and wondered why. Apparently our guys didn't get their luggage with headphones, microphones, mice, keyboards etc until late at night after that first match. Went smoother after that :).

GGs to Mamut, they seemed really stable throughout the tourney.
