Play it to the Last Resort

The EuroCup being in full swing tonight, we can see even more fantastic games for our viewing pleasure. The evening being composed of different games from all different groups (apart from Group D). All bearing the marks as decisive games within their poules, it will be bound to be an interesting evening!




Tournament favorites fighting it off against another surprise from this season. Up to now TLR have lived up to their game with a clear win from TAG, while the Cortana surprised many by winning from one of the favorites as well, Fatgames. Now again going into the underdog role they hope to repeat that happening. Unfortunately, this time it's TLR who comes prepared into game with a full Line Up, giving Cortana no chance, only for a 4-0 loss.

Cortana is a strong enemy, and our group is getting pretty interesting, so this a must win game for us. We have been preparing our sp_delivery_te game pretty seriously, because we feel the map needs the attention, since everyone is playing pretty random on it. Well, except for mamut!

After our win vs FatGames we gained some extra confidence, but today we are playing against the favorites of the tournament and it will be hard for us to make a positive result. It's still a 6on6 game tho :>

On paper, this game should provide the fireworks of the evening with massive beats. With Devilry as HighBot losing their first game, they are pressurized to win this, in order to keep an eye on the Play Offs rounds. Its only up to the teams own motivations wether this will be the 3 map game of many already in the Group Stages. And frankly, I can't see it going any other way! In the end it would be Devilry taking the 4-2 score on HighBot, seeing their recent performances and play. So unless HighBot buckles up and play to their full potential and motivation, Devilry will get the chance to pass on eventually.

We got a chance to win this, if we stick together and play a concentrated match.But if i think about our situation atm, it will be a hard game for us after praccing not like 2 weeks.

We didn't even prac once after the match versus mamut because of some personal problems. For that reason it could be a difficult game for us. However, I think that highbot are not so good and we should be able to take it anyway, even if we fuck up on delivery again ;-)
