The football world cup is going to start, but we have a big amount of things for you coming up to get the Enemy Territory summer even hotter than never before. Our Free For All Cups are coming up to bring you awesome events and matches in 1on1, 3on3 and 6on6 to raise the temperature in your city.
With an improved config in all ESL ET leagues and all the information you need to get this thing running.
Its just some hours ago when rize beat Team Helix, now its time again to start a hot summer season with our Free For All cups. As iTGsFlyingDJ already shouted in your ears, with his questions in yesterdays show Luger Frag on Radio iTG, we are going to announce our cups officially and publish all the improves we have.
Our 6on6 winter season was filled with 64 teams and we got a nice response of the community. After we have finished it, we are now ready to present you our upcoming summer season. The system will be changed and we have some more admins to support you and your clan during this cup. With 4 teams facing each other in 16 groups, we will have another hopefully nice cup running with one match each week. The esl6vs6 config will be used in the matches.
The mappool wont surprise you, we will take in ET Ice, Frostbite, SW Goldrush TE, Braundorf b4, Radar, Adlernest and as first decider in the groupstage Supply Depot 2.
Its already some time ago, when we saw sTREETFIGHERS beating #murso in the 3on3 Winter Cup. Not it's time for a new season with 64 teams fighting in 16 groups for the crown. The maps are ET Ice, SW Goldrush TE, Radar, Frostbite, Adlernest and Supply Depot 2. The decider will be eliminated after a cointoss. All matches have to be played on the esl3vs3 config.
Prizemoney
As you can read here http://www.xfire.be/?x=article&mode=item&id=574 and as you maybe heard in yesterdays Luger Frag with FlyingDJ, we are still waiting and trying our best to get a cup running up with some prizemoney. This cup isn't announced in this news and will be invite only. Also, if we are getting this invite only cup, we are going to spend a small part of it in the 3on3 cup too.
Lets hope we'll get some support.
Configs
As it was already announced and discussed at xfire.be, we are going to use an own config in this season. After the mortar showed its power in the recent cups, we have decided to remove it along with the mobile MG on all maps. Another important changes are the cl_maxpackets which have to be in 60 100 and the rate in 20000 25000. A small gameplay change will be the removal of the b_helmetprotection.
The config pack for 1on1, 3on3 and 6on6 can be downloaded here. Configs are not certified yet since the ETPro developer bani on the way to move with his house and job. We are waiting to get them as soon as possible.
