Sweden FeruS has come back to his roots and has gotten back to the business he does best. The most successful Swedish ET player has joined up with Eurocup semi finalists Northern Darkness in a bid to secure Eurocup Gold. As for ND, they saw this an oppourtunity to get an extra nationality on their roster, that and replace gmx

I caught up with the lovable swede for a quick chat about his return and ND's Eurocup prospects.

QuoteWell, around 1-2 weeks ago i was at an party, i came home, and started to chat a bit with irZ. And she got me into installing ET again, played a bit and it was pretty fun. So wednesday night kris messaged me if i was interesting to play finish EC for them and i thought it was going to be fun to play a bit again. And since i have hurt my back and cant drive cross anymore at the moment or do any 'rough things' i got some free time again. Well, i think we have a great chance of taking home the gold. But since im in an CS(1.6) ladder with prizemoney wich im competing with my irl mate, that doesnt end until the 27th, we wont be able to practise that much until our first eurocup match.

As for how long you'll see one of ET's all time greats?
QuoteI would guess only until eurocup ends, so thats max 2 matches, so its just temporary.

Blink and you'll miss him so watch closely as Ferus and his new Northern Darkness teamates take on Crossfire Kings of the Hill Germany RiZe next Thursday in the Eurocup Semi Final. It was Spring 2005 when u96d added Intact and Ferus to their roster late in the Eurocup Cup season and they came up trumps, will history repeat itself?
Read on for a small interview with the Swede

Whats was the most prestigious moment of your ET career?
QuoteHmm... tough one.. but I'll have to say when u96d got beaten by Parodia and we fell down into the loserbracket, and then we had them in the finals and had to take 2 maps and they only needed one. But we got both =)

What about Quakecon? You were apart of the team that eventually won it, Why didnt you get to Dallas? And do you have any regrets?
QuoteHehe, I dont really know, I was changing clan I think 3-4 times before quakecon actually happened. But I had'nt played for a swedish clan for a very long time and would be fun to go with swedes. Why I didint get was because of some chances i took, wich i do regret by now, but its always easy to be "after smart". Yes I do regret that I left u96d since we didnt get there with iN/Team9 and I was looking forward to go to quakecon.

You've had the pleasure of playing with some of the greatest players in RTCW and ET history and can list clanmates that many can only dream of - Which team and which player stand out for you in your memories?
QuoteWell I've had alot of fun in all of my clans, But the teams that stands out for me the most is, KiH, saevus and u96d. I can't really pick one. And the players that has impressed me the most are Night and FeTTe.
They are both 2 amazing players, Night is the best ET player i know, he knows how the game is meant to be played, hes definetly the smartest player I have seen in my ET career and hes a great teamleader. Fette is an amazing aimer and teamplayer, and i dont only mean in RTCW/ET, hes amazing at all games :)

And where does your future lie? In a couple of years will I be able to say I knew "SK|Ferus"?
QuoteProbally not, since I kind of quit the "serious gaming" after a CS:S lan in England, around 8 months ago and now I only play sometimes for the fun :)
