The summer takes its last breaths and so are our ESL Summer Leagues. The last matches are being scheduled and the playoffs are close to their end. With the recent announce of the ESL Major Series Season V featuring Enemy Territory with a prizepool of 500 € we are also ready to welcome the ESL ET Fall Season!

This time we will combine the ESL Major Series V with our upcoming Fall Season. This means there will be one big signup for all 6on6 teams and the best of them join the EMS. But read on for more details and the signuplinks:

In order to give as many teams as possible the chance to play in the ESL Major Series we will let the best 32 seeded teams join 4 qualifier cups. The first 4 of each will move on into the EMS Groupstage while the last 4 face each other in the Fall 6on6 Premier Division. As you may have recognized, we changed the system a bit compared to the system of last season. Now it is more clearly but still offers the chance to find Europe'S best teams in the EMS!

Detailed rules and the maplist will be published shortly before the signups close. So if you want to give some feedback or input it is now the time to propose what YOU would like to see in the upcoming season!

this is not question for me, Im not a admin of ESL but for me currently ESL got better admins than ClanBase (only Donex for me is okay, always helped me very fast when I needed help).

we've been advertising the ladders, restarting them and whatsoever for a given timeframe. The result was a bit bigger activity but nothing that would live long... The ladder format is not working anymore in ET, dont ask me why, I've always loved to play ladder.

Because people are afraid to play ladders. If lower teams need to play against some skilled teams the lower team gets afraid 'we would only lose against you no point here' so they prefer to play ladder games against teams what they surely can beat. Thats why ladders are mostly dead. And some clans prefer pracs instead of officials and that's something what I can't understand :D well 6v6 pracs are fine but I see lot of people playing only 3v3 pracs too. Thats just useless waste of time imo

for sure it would be, but it is impossible to do so. Thats outside our capacity.
If clans dont play ladders on their own it has no future, because we can't be arsed to ask hundreds of clans all the time to join while you only get flame back anyway ;)

when we for 2-3 weeks advertised the ladders which were reset with weekly newsposts and top-news coverage including GTV coverage & shoutcasts there were about 10comments at each news in total (90% complaining about boring matches). Change this community then its worth the effort.

where do you see 10,000 € for cs?
cs male is parte of the esl intel extreme masters with 500,000$ prize money and cs female gets 1,500 € at ems.
